Office

Every parent reply has somebody’s name on it. Owner, due date, status.

Parents message the office rather than individual teachers. Each thread can be assigned, replied to, turned into a task, resolved, or escalated to the safeguarding lead.

  • Absence, payment and general enquiry threads, sorted on arrival
  • Assign to yourself or raise a task with a due date
  • Escalate to the DSL and ordinary office copies disappear
  • Staff notes are never visible to parents

Not a shared mailbox

A shared mailbox works until two people are off. Threads here carry an owner and a status, so anyone covering can see what is still waiting on the school.

Safeguarding is a route, not a case file

Raising a halt limits copies to the DSL and deputy and records the handoff. It is not a CPOMS replacement and is not sold as one.

Common questions

Can a teacher give themselves DSL access?+

No. Role changes need administration rights and leave an audit entry.

Do parents see internal notes?+

No. Staff notes stay internal, and the office chooses which summaries are shared with a parent.

Give parents one place to look.

Open the demo as a parent, then as the office, and see the same letter from both ends. It is a fictional trust with the real product behind it.
